Who are you guys using for your outboards in Branson area? Came down this weekend, launched and took a 3 minute ride to the slip at the dock. Came back a few hours later to fire her up and nothing. The solenoid just clicks but nothing will turn over. I am no mechanic by any stretch and have no clue what the deal is. I tried a new battery but that didn't help.  It's an Evinrude so if there are any techs that work on them that would be best.

I'd rather get it fixed right the first time than have to take it back. No one but Kelly Power touches mine.

Thanks guys. Guess I'll run it over to Ulrich. Not in a hurry so it's fine if they are backed up.

Plus one on Kelly Power.  They fixed a fuel pump diaphragm issue on my old FICHT a few years ago.  I got it back, put it in the water and had another non-related issue happen immediately.  I called Kelly and he told me to drive it back.  He had 2 of his guys waiting when I got there as they were closing and stayed 45 minutes after hours to get me back up and running for the weekend.   Or you could drive up to see Wrench.  I might of heard somewhere that he’s an Evinrude guy😂

In case there is any doubt, Wrench is my kind of guy, few and far between, " call me and I will tell you how to fix" no 3 week wait. Hard to believe in this day and age, like folks were 40 years ago. Carry on Young Man as you are definitely appreciated, by some.  Chuck Moore

 Well thanks, Chuck ! 😊

I understand that everyone in this business is booked for at least 2 weeks with more complicated or time consuming projects, but it's rediculous to expect someone that just needs something quick & easy taken care of to wait that long.

Those quick/easy jobs are the ones that keep the lights on until the bigger jobs get picked up and paid for.    A decent tech could probably fix abkeenan's motor in the time it would take him to go take a pee.  🙄
