You might get lucky and get in sooner. Even if you don't, you'll have the peace of mind of knowing that you're dealing with a straight shooter and a lifelong fisherman who has been in your shoes himself in Kelly Power. IMO, you'll get the best darn service available in the Ozarks.

I'll tell ya what bugs me, is that the dealerships are not working on older motors hardly at all, and the fact that they claim to constantly be 4-7 weeks booked on WARRANTY repairs......Well that's just troubling.  Isn't it ?

When I say that I'm 2 weeks buried, that doesn't mean that someone that comes in with a job that can be taken care of in  1 hour or less is going to have to wait 2 weeks...... I'll squeeze it in.     

Walk through any dealership, at any time,and you'll see mechanics/techs just standing around scratching their balls, in perfectly clean uniforms.  🙄

Ulrich does sell boats, but not many.  Their main business is repair. I believe they have at least 4 techs and they are totally covered up. 

Every time I’m there they look like ducks feeding off the bottom with their head in a bilge and their butts in the air.  

Really busy place. 

If it’s something that takes 15 minutes and they don’t have to roll it into a bay they will look at it, but they just can’t roll one out and roll you in and tear it down.

I would call Howard at Mccallister he is a good one and don't believe he that far out.

got lucky, Ulrich looked at it.  Cant even get the valves to open. Pretty sure its a broken timing chain. New powerhead time

I will say Mccallisters couldnt even get a fuel pickup tube right in my boat. I took it there to have them replace the pick up tube cuz i was going to be out of town for a week and wanted it to be ready when i got home. Well they took out a long flexible pick up hose and replaced it with a hard one that only went down 8 inches. That a real problem when your tank is 14 inches deep... So yep i ran out of gas when i had a half tank. Had to order the correct one and do it myself
