Johnsfolly Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 A woman that used to work for me shot an 8 pt doe. They got the surprise when they flipped her over😉. The photos that I hae seen, those does still don't have the big swollen necks like the bucks do.
fishinwrench Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 I grew up in the Monroe and Audrain county area, and antlered Doe's have always been fairly common. I just assumed it was a common thing everywhere. No? I recall an antlered piebald Doe being killed here in the LO area 10-15 years ago.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 I've seen and heard of a bunch of them through the years. Usually spikes though.
Johnsfolly Posted December 1, 2021 Posted December 1, 2021 If I remember right, she shot that deer in Callaway county. We have a few piebalds around here. Saw a nice piebald buck a couple of times and got a chance at him on 10/30. Watched him for 15 mins or more before he gave me a broadside shot and then had a misfire with the crossbow with the arrow landing about 10 ft in front of him. Might have miscocked the string. In Maryland baiting is legal. My daughter was using her phone camera from in the house while I was in the blind out back so not a great photo. We have seen probably 15 or more different bucks this year, but haven't seen this guy again. There's one of my zero hunt stories 🙄 Daryk Campbell Sr and snagged in outlet 3 2
jdmidwest Posted December 2, 2021 Author Posted December 2, 2021 Its the end of the world. New question on the gun forms that you fill out at purchase of any firearm. Sex? __ Male __ Female __ Non Binary I am confused at that point and come to a halt since it is a Federal Form and I can not tell a lie. I am male, never a question or a doubt, but I do not own a Binary Trigger, so I am confused at that point as why they even ask if I have one, especially during Sex. I can only chose one....... Totally worthless for anything I would do with a gun. I meant non- binary people. But that triggers doesn’t sound useful either.
