I've been dinged many times by companies wanting to buy the site...  it's surprising how much this thing is worth.  But I'm not interested.  I don't want someone to come in and change things.  I could do more with it... if I had time. 

Bill Babler is retiring soon.  May be he can write a fishing article 2 or 3 times a week with awesome pictures about fishing Table Rock, Bull Shoals and maybe Taneycomo.  I told him he could do a One Cast video on Table Rock and get a huge Youtube following.

If I had of been smart 20 years ago I would have registered a bunch of domain names.  My sister was a web designer and set up my "Sims Marine" website.    In 2004 the company that has/had the SIMS video game thing offered 8000.00 for my domain.    I signed off and they sent me a check. 

It only cost 20.00 to register the domain originally.     

I'm telling you this because you might wanna hear the offer. 😲 Seriously.

The only bona fide one that gave me a serious offer about 6 years ago was $45,000.

A buddy of mine is a moderator on a dirt bike forum, the owner offered to sell him the site, I think the owner wanted $100K for it, that was several years ago.

Babler can write a good fishing story, always thought he should write a book.

Took us 2 decades to buy our domain name at work.   From some dude that owned hundreds of them.

We tend to leak out a lot of good info on here at times.  More content than other places.

Fbook has been a thing and lots of content there at times, but it tends to be more self centered and biased.

Keep up the good work.  45k is not much when you consider all the personal time and money spend building and keeping it up.

Yeah I get frustrated looking at FB.  Alot of guys who used to contribute here are posting there now looking for those "likes".

Any forum I've ever been a part of that was sold has died, or got so bad I left... they just never seem to survive the transition.  

I don't FB so I know I miss allot, but would much rather give my clicks here versus that awful company.
