A dog is more trouble than a boat, so…….Forgetaboutit.

I have a Beagle she is getting better being alone. She might get jealous if I get a pup.

I had a Jack Russell and he would destroy a House trying to get a mouse. He was a one person Dog.

I spend a lot on shots and stuff. One thing with Dogs they don’t live long. I am worried about a pup getting up and down the steps into our fenced in area for the Dogs. If it stays around us all is good.

Since the day I was born I have never been more than 4-5 months without a dog in my life.  I tried once but just couldn't do it.

They can be (usually are) a total PIA, but I get an unbearable empty feeling in my soul if I don't have some ears to rub.

Growing up we always had dogs.  My brothers and sister all have dogs.   Me.  Never owned one.   I’ve never liked them in the house.  My wife grew up on a farm with dogs.  Animals were outside.  I like dogs I just don’t want to own one and definitely not in the house.

We did too but they were hunting dogs.  They were never allowed in the house.  I have had several quail hunting dogs that lived in a kennel outside.  I’ve never been one for having an animal that would lick its butt then want to lick my face.

Especially  because the dog will never admit which one tastes better! 😬

We have a little yorkie and while she is the bomb, I can tell you this. Smaller bred dogs are a lot harder to take care of then you think. This one almost died like 3 times when she was a pup. They just have WAY more problems than a bigger dog. My wife had to have this one, so I have had to take it to the vet hospital a couple of times when I thought it was going to pass away. That being said I myself wouldn't want any dog that small.

There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

I like my Medium Dogs but I was thinking of traveling but most won’t let us have our Dog. We usually leave the Dogs at the house and pay someone to take care of them.

And trying to keep a Dog off furniture if they are use to getting up on it. It is almost impossible.

My wife says she could handle a Big Dog . We had a Lab and we loved her but she was just too big. We had a Jack Russell he was all mine and very destructive. We took him on a trip one time it wasn’t good. Had a Healer he was very good but got Cancer and Vet couldn’t do anymore so I put him down.

It seems we are getting a year old rescue Beagle.

My wife just called me about it.
