Bill Babler Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Its a real problem with dock builders building and assembling docks at the ramps. The hardware they leave is unreal. If a screw drops just let it lay and reach into your pocket for a new one. Last month at the downtown Branson ramp on Taney, I picked up 2 screws and a piece of wire. Smithvillesteve Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 I was backing down my boat a few years back at Stockton. Crabtree ramp. A guy on the dock started waving at me frantically to stop. He pointed out several nails and screws were in the water on the ramp i was going to use. Thank goodness he was there. I just assumed it was some dumb teenagers. Never thought about dock workers. There are 4 ramps at Crabtree and the ramp i was using was right next to the dock. Maybe i need to apologize to all the dumb teenagers!! dtrs5kprs 1
