We have just a light skiff of ice here.  Snow will come but that's OK.  At least as far as knocking down trees and power lines.  Usually.

About the same here, no ice on the roads, but my truck has a pretty good glaze on it.

You must be watching Lyin Ron on KY3....

You mean you don't trust the guy that tells everyone to wear their bicycle helmet inside their house during a severe thunderstorm?

I bet he predicts the weather just fine. The problem is that those predictions aren't doom and gloom enough for ol Ron. He needs you constantly watching him so every few days the end of the world is coming with that guy.

We've got what looks like 8 inches of snow here in the lee of the house. It's drifting to the windward side, and some of the drifts are 16 inches or so.  Still snowing...sigh. Time to get off the computer and back to working on fishing gear and tying flies and jigs.

I'm firing up my $20 garage sale snow blower!!!!!   I've been waiting for this moment!!!

If I had a snowblower I'd be rooting for snow too.  I would probably do a couple of the neighbors driveways just for fun.

Worked like a charm!!   I say we probably have 7" now.   My wife says 5"...

How do you measure a snowfall when it snows sideways and drifts all over the place?   Measure it all and figure an average ?

I have 8" on the patio table and the vehicles, 4" on the deck, 3" on the rails, 4" in the middle of the driveway.  And it's still coming down pretty heavily.

We got a thin coating of ice with about 5in of snow on top and it's still coming down.

We tend to get a lil bit more than ofallon being closer to the river...

We'll see how long it keeps up,  they already canceled all the kids school for today and tomorrow.

If it let's up I gotta take my oldest out to teach her how to drive in the snow.
