Yes, I cut out the damaged strips and have one already gluing in place.   Replacing 3 strips.   I tried using a spring clamp to hold the replacement in place, and cracked a strip on the other side.

Well, I'm doing much better and am able to pick up where I left off.   Here are photos from yesterday and today.  IMG_20230924_140408384.jpg

the Fiberglass cloth had a white or silvery look to it.   It disappears when the 2 part epoxy resin and hardener are applied.  IMG_20230924_140442817.jpg

Today's updates.  I had to sand the fill coats, (you can see the fiberglass weave), and  a couple casualties (bugs).  Applied a final coat, and glassed the stems closed.  Gonna let the final coat cure about a week, maybe 2.
