Yes, I cut out the damaged strips and have one already gluing in place. Replacing 3 strips. I tried using a spring clamp to hold the replacement in place, and cracked a strip on the other side. TRRANGER Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Both of those are artwork, I would be afraid to scratch it after that many hours spent building them. Amazing work guys. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted September 24, 2023 Author Posted September 24, 2023 Well, I'm doing much better and am able to pick up where I left off. Here are photos from yesterday and today. the Fiberglass cloth had a white or silvery look to it. It disappears when the 2 part epoxy resin and hardener are applied. nomolites, Gavin, BilletHead and 8 others 11 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Daryk Campbell Sr Posted October 9, 2023 Author Posted October 9, 2023 Today's updates. I had to sand the fill coats, (you can see the fiberglass weave), and a couple casualties (bugs). Applied a final coat, and glassed the stems closed. Gonna let the final coat cure about a week, maybe 2.
