How in the H-e double ek can Wheeler catch 51 fish today with 30 keepers.

In this guys hands Garmin Live scope and Lowrance Active Target should not be allowed. He is so far ahead of the field that its pro-ball against college.

Spoke to Mike yesterday. He had 1 keeper the 1st. day of practice and 6 the second day.

He is right in there to make the knockout, but that is 46 Friggin pounds behind Wheeler.

If we ever have a food shortage dude and his fam. would be OK if they liked to eat fish everyday.

Unreal.

I'm gonna guess that he is targeting suspended fish around release areas at just the right time.

I'd love to know how he is learning the timing of the bite.    If you just knew THAT then you really wouldn't need FFS, because when they turn on they'll chase a bait a pretty fair distance.    But if you pound them with casts before they are ready to go bonkers..... it'll put them off and scatter them.

The only thing I can figure is that during practice he is just following them around, watching them, and somehow figuring out their schedule.

Spoke with Mike again last night. Said they would follow but not eat. Many times he had multiple fish on the live scope. Lots of the guys were saying the same thing. I'd like to try those K's out down there and see what I could make of them.

Marty Stone said the majority of them really never go to the bank and live their life suspended over deep trees, except a very short period to spawn, and that may be extremely deep spammers, due to the clarity of the lake.

Does that remind you of anyplace we know?

They spawn on big tree limbs….little George’s were good when I fished there as a kid…

snap them and buzz it up slow fall it back they would exhale it…think those spots are a different subspecies….haven’t fished it since I was 14…

They're the weird long spots. I always guess the weight wrong when I see them on a show. Alabamas, I think. Same kind in Lanier.

Connell literally says biggun on every fish catch today and some aren’t even two lbs. gets annoying but he is putting in a clinic.

He's got the Ike disease.
