Wouldn’t you get more climate cleansing for your buck by getting countries like China and India to clean up to at least the level of the US?Rather than shoving more cost increases for minimal changes on our country?   Which is already way cleaner than those.

Well ,the wind farms made a great friend in NW Mo a multi millionaire. He was able to buy 4 new trucks and still rakes in money just hauling gravel for pads and access roads. I don't know how they can be cost efficient.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink, or so I've heard.  If you don't like that source, there are lots of others available.  I do know one thing for an absolute fact.  If people weren't making money on wind generation, it wouldn't be the growth industry it is.  The market never lies.

My main beef with windmills is they are a blight on the landscape and when they are put in, completely ruin any hunting or outdoor activity, not to mention once up, the land around them is posted.   Not a big deal in the midwest, but out west it is.   Notice the quote from the article, about putting them in "remote" areas, as if that is a good thing.  Not a lot of remote left out there.  I'm not anti- wind or solar, but sure do hate to see it installed out there in the wide open spaces.

 Wind farms are usually installed in remote areas, and so infrastructure like access roads, power stations, and distribution lines must be built to accommodate their construction, which adds to the overhead costs.
