My scale has a tare feature.   They also make nets with scales in the handle.   They weren’t big enough for me but would be fine for @JestersHK, @Sethand those guys😁

Digital or spring?  An accurate one would help Ketchup's club out.

I’m not sure.   I ordered one and sent it back.  The thing is huge.   And not water proof I think.   I ordered a rapala after seeing Wheeler and a bunch of pros using them.   I really like it.

It's this one, @Terrierman.  I posted it on the first page of this thread.   I bought the MLF model but took it back.  I didn't like it and saw a bunch of pros on TV using this one on the Bassmasters.  I really like it.

I didn't realize it was integral to a net.  Sorry, I'm OLD so that's my excuse.

Mine isn’t but there are a bunch of them available like that.   It’s just I already have a big net and only needed a scale.

I have a gaff for my big fish.😲  Let me know if you need to borrow it.

No scale on it though.☹️

Imagine the feedback I would get posting a picture of a fish hanging on the gaff?😂.   Title: caught and released a Big One.

Can't be much worse than releasing fish after hauling them around all day and going to the weigh in during 100 degree heat and then setting them free to float belly up.

Even worse people just do it for the "hero" pic. saw that today on Stockton Facespace

Cool - If you've got guys that are savvy enough with the technology and are willing to do what needs to be done, it is a neat way to do it.

I think the tech is definitely there.  I was exploring this with my tournament app with incorporating a blue tooth enabled scale to try and make it all sync up.  Technology has only gotten better since then.

It really comes down to can you make an app that's actually usable while your hand are wet and holding a slimy fish... there almost needs to be a standalone solution and keep it off the phones.
