fishinwrench Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 Last weekend a girl (26) that my daughters know, was a passenger in a wake boat, going around in circles, that crossed it's own wake, and broke her back. The majority of people I see driving those things appear to have no prior boating experience at all. Watching them launch/load/and dock their boats is not even funny...... it's scary. Having a "wake boat party" (huge get together) where they are going to be showing off in mass..... is just asking for it. vernon, snagged in outlet 3, dan hufferd and 1 other 2 1 1
Quillback Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 I see no Regatta permit for this event. This permit application must be properly completed in order for the Missouri State Highway Patrol to consider approval of a marine event (tournament, parade, race, exhibition, etc.) on navigable waters of the State of Missouri as required by Section 306.130 RSMo m&m, snagged in outlet 3, Carl W and 1 other 4

snagged in outlet 3 Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 I’m glad it’s not in the lower end. For me at least. A guy in my condo building owns State a Mind Watersports I think. Or at least his truck and boat are both wrapped with that company logo. There sure are a lot of them now. I don’t like them but I get it. Too bad they can’t enjoy their hobby without ruining everyone else’s. fishinwrench, skeeter and Daryk Campbell Sr 3

If they are all tied together, at least they won't be running up and down the lake annoying everyone. Do you think we could hire someone to create a water spout?
Browning Guy Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 Neighbor on the lake just bought one.......has maybe 8 hrs of experience running a smaller inboard. Jumped head first into a wake board boat.

If they just headed down the lake it wouldn't be a big deal..... but a single wake boat will choose an area and go 'round & 'round turning an entire 2 mile stretch of water into a giant washing machine. gurzik, m&m and snagged in outlet 3 3
