One of my daughters friends has one, and I can't even hear her pull into the driveway with it.  She busted me taking a piss next to the shop one day. 🙄

I have a feeling that deer/dog/coon collisions are going to increase dramatically if everyone starts driving those things around.

I read an article about a year or so ago that there has been an increase in neighborhood cats being killed by EVs. I'm sure as you mentioned that other animals collisions will increase as well.

Get a dozen deer whistle deals that were on the market for years and glue them all over the hood!

I see no problem with this if it takes out the feral and dumped cats no one wants to take care of anymore.  This way the ones city folk dump I don't have to take care of.

Will Kobe drive very far to work my road?

There's a LOT of Teslas (Tesli?  lol) in and around Saint Louis.  I saw one take off from a stoplight a couple years ago...I'm not sure what model it was, but I've never seen any vehicle accelerate that fast.  Scary fast!

He waited on it for two years and then three weeks after he got it he hit a deer one night coming back from Poplar Bluff. I looked into it at that time and there is no data that I could find that would support electric vehicles hit more wildlife. I've read that even though the vehicles are much quieter at slow speed, they make the same amount of noise as regular car at highway speeds. As long as you are comparing it to a regular muffled engine. Not one of these things they put the noisy exhaust on.

The thing about deer hits is they just aren't that smart. You have to watch out for them. They aren't any smarter about crossing the road than a squirrel, they just do a lot more damage.

Squirrels just make mistakes in judgement. To them, shooting across the road and dodging tires is like a sport. They at least TRY !

Deer are like zombies. Dumber than a box of rocks.   I've tried to pound it into my kids heads that the object of the game is to MAINTAIN YOUR LANE, and if that means mowing over an animal the size of a horse.....so be it.

Swerving to miss some idiot that wanders into your path is the worst reaction ever.  It seldom ends well.
