laker67 Posted September 27, 2022 Author Posted September 27, 2022 So, if I may share a comical story. I'm gearing up this morning and decided I'd put on my waist waders so I can get a little deeper. As I'm slipping into them, I get them up to my knees and then they were harder to get in from there. I finally get them up to my waist and I can't even get to my phone. I'm thinking, geez, I thought I lost a couple pounds! So as I'm peeling them back off, which was a trick, I'm thinking what in the world....Then I realized Brad used "dad's" waders for the memorial. Well he had actually taken mom's. And I was trying to fit an extra 50 pounds into Rick's waders. Wasn't happening! Thankfully I had also brought my hip waders, or I'd be wet wading this trip.
