It’s hilarious that people get all upset about someone smoking pot but you can go into in convenience store and buy as much alcohol as you want. If anyone was really concerned with anyone’s safety they would put an end to that. Alcohol demolitions lives day after day, the innocent, the family, and those guilt of causing those things while drinking. Coming from a household growing up where the ritual was for the adults to show how stupid drunk they could get and act a fool has been my motivation to not fall in to that category. I don’t drink, smoke. Rarely take over the counters unless last resort. So many innocent people have been hurt by those that consume it. So I’m with ya fly, get rid of that as well. fishinwrench and nomolites 2 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

You know why Marijuana got rated the way it did? Because Mexicans and Black's smoked it and they said it was the reason Black's danced the way they did. oneshot
Members T.J. Clarke Posted February 4, 2023 Members Posted February 4, 2023 Weed stores are fleeing California due to high cost of doing business, and TAXES. As Cali goes, so does the rest of the nation. Before long the remaining states will make the effort prohibitive. Back to illegal weed at that point.

Up until a couple months ago they could grow basically unchecked now the Government has cut them back. oneshot
Gavin Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Walked into one today. They had some interesting stuff. Did not buy any, way overpriced. MOstreamer, Daryk Campbell Sr and nomolites 3
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 I'm not a smoker other than the occasional cigar. Have no issues with pot, if you want it, have it. Just funny to me that it was illegal and problematic until they finally found a better way to benefit. Terrierman, Johnsfolly and T.J. MOPanfisher Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 Well I still don't k ow anything about weed and don't really care too. When I was a kid a deputy sheriff stopped as we were working in the garden. Asked if he could take a look, looked at the tall old school okra plants thanked us and left. I suspect that what recreational pot will do is help those who have no desire or intent to work or do anything other than lounge around to be even better at it. I worry more about those on the lakes with slightly diminished reaction times, or diminished decision making abilities, but there are plenty around anyway.

When I was in my teens & twenty's smoking weed was fun. Then the attic biologists started "experimenting" with it.....and the next thing ya know a few tokes was like dropping a 1/4 hit of blotter acid. Once it got to the point that I couldn't fish, tie flys, or shoot a bow worth a crap while I was high, I pretty much stopped enjoying it. The weed available NOW isn't nearly as enjoyable as the old school Colombian brown weed that I grew up with. Honestly I seldom partake anymore unless I have absolutely no plans to do anything except clean the shop, or sit around the yard and watch cars drive by......which isn't fun at all because then I usually end up getting all paranoid about something. Biologists ruined Marijuana..... Yet another reason to wanna kick them all in the throat. 🙄

Anybody that wants weed already has and had it. What really changed is tax revenue. That and it's another good way for the man to try to keep folks in line. It's been mostly ignored by Johnny Law for a qood while now. nomolites 1
