Not yet in 2023, did a couple times last year.  I doubt that much has changed since you were there, still small water and still bashful fish.

I haven’t been but almost always see vehicles south of Crane by the conservation area.  Yesterday there were 6 guys by the road.  I don’t know if they were coming or going.

I'm gonna be spending some time in Crane the next few months taking care of my mom.  Thought about doing some fishing, anyone fished Crane this year been 20yrs since I have.

Not this year but I know it blindfolded. Best bet is always wooly buggers and elk hair caddis. Caddis in 16 and wooly up 8 . there are a lot of stoneflies and crawfish. Scuds work well also . fish drop shot or euro style for numbers. Frenchie is go to for that method. Fish the bridge above the park on up and from the railroad bridge on down. People dont go there as much. Let us know how you do. Hit me up and I could join you and show you some prime spots

Thought John's first photo was one of those "Mothman" sightings.

It's  a portable turkey blind. On one of out trips from Missouri we stopped in Point Pleasant Wesr Virginia where the mothman sightings took place. Went go the museum, ate mothman fries (covered with spicy jack cheese and habaneros).
