Been seeing them around here and thought the same thing. We also have been seeing a lot wandering foxes.

The Robins on our place are INSANE this week.  Never seen this many anywhere.

They will never look up through ice thicker than a window pane is how I learned it back when I was still learning about spring.

Old timers said peepers would get frozen 3 times before spring.  Skunks, peepers, and an armadillo the other day.
