Since fishwrench showed his I want to show mine. Only thing left to do is get the oars. I want to be able to use it like a drift boat on Taneycomo. Although you have alot more control with the old style foot control trolling moter, I really like the spot lock. And cruise control. I do better using fly line in a boat without decks. It's easier for me to keep it out of trouble.

Dan Gapen had a little rig just like that back in the day.   He carried a landing net that was as wide as the boat was....for a reason 😉

I bought a set of oars.....gave them away.....found out I would rather fish than row.....

Very Nice -  bet those were a hoot on a 7wt.    I was wondering where those fish went…I saw one school deep a few weeks ago but could not keep them pinned down.

I don't think I've ever seen someone that physically matches their online persona quite so well.

Yeah I know, Piper truly is a Leprechaun!  😅

Having him in the boat is incredible good luck. 👍

They are 7'-9' and hugging the bottom up here.  I'm just now figuring out how to get them to bite semi-consistently.   Low & Slow with no fancy/darty strips or twitches.   Perfect sport for a lazy dude👍

The only thing I can get to chase and bite in the top 1/2 of the water column is the little runt yearling Whites.   If you aren't catching catfish and drum occasionally then you're not gonna catch the bigger whites/hybrids/mutts.
