Strange message...

Got a strange message this morning from a new member... it was a response to for-sale post i had about rowlocks.  The poster wanted me to send a message to "tippet7", who apparently hasn't posted since 2015. It was suggested that I respond to an email address that was in the reply.

I didn't respond, of course, because it smells a lot like spam.  Just thought it might be worth warning folks that there might be a new method of phishing.

However, if the message was a real post, then I need to apologize to Monke924 for misreading his/her/its intent.

I got the same message,  but for beads that I was looking for.   I also did not reply.   I think someone is spamming the buy/sell/trade thread.

This person joined recently.  I should have nixed them but sometimes it's hard to tell.
