aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Been stir crazy at the house with the kiddo out of school so we decided to go to wow. It was the first time for me. Pretty impressive place. Definitely pricey but worth it to see. My boy was all about the 21lb bass. bfishn, nomolites, Quillback and 7 others 10
Quillback Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Good way to spend a winter day. Johnsfolly and Terrierman 2
Johnsfolly Posted January 16 Posted January 16 We have gone to WOW a couple of times. The first time is when they just opened it the first time. Then we went after they finished the remodel and opened it again recently. I was impressed. We go to a lot of aquaria around the country and I rate this one in the top ten. Quillback, snagged in outlet 3, Terrierman and 1 other 4
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I haven't been to WOW. That is a really clean and clear tank. We went too the Branson Aquarium a few years ago. Had it almost to ourselves, and it was a great time. I really enjoy aquariums, but the constant hustle and bustle is quite annoying. I know, I was always guilty of it at the Zoo, as a kid. Now I understand why there are hundreds of benches. Maybe I'll have to go on a weekday, early. snagged in outlet 3 and Johnsfolly 2 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. I used to work in St Louis and on many occasions, if it was near the peak traffic time when my job was done, I would stop at the Zoo or Grant's Farm. Take the free parking and spend a little time in the afternoon relaxing. Grant's Farm had a 2 free beer thing and a tram ride thru the park. Crowds were light during the week days. ollie Posted January 17 Posted January 17 It is an impressive sight to behold. Very well done and maintained. I thought it was miles ahead of the Branson aquarium myself. snagged in outlet 3, Terrierman and Johnsfolly 3 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
