Looks like we're going to get our wish.  Pretty big rain over the next 4 days centered on the 3-state line.   Should be pretty gradual but we'll see.  Creeks and rivers will be shut down for a while.

For Taney, hopefully we'll see more generation.  Babler reports seeing very little green slim in the dam area on TR so hopefully that means less moss flowing this spring.

We get just enough to keep things green.  Creeks and rivers are way low .  It's beginning to seem normal.

Was supposed to float Saturday so of course it's going to blow the rivers. But I'm happy to get some rain.

Anything more than about 2" will just run off anyway without wetting the dirt and if the 2" comes down hard and  fast most of it will just run off. Run off might fill the ponds but it won't refill the karst that keeps the streams flowing. One week after a torrential food and the hills will be in drought again.  #becarefulwhatyouwishfor

I hope that you guys get the rain that you need and not more than you want 😉.

I'm done with rain personally. We have had heavy rains at least once or twice a week for most of the late winter and spring so far. The most that we had was 9 inches in ten days. Of course most of those rains would be Thurs or Friday after I decided what creek or small river that I wanted to fish that weekend only to watch the gage heights climb and climb... 😩.

I'm sure you've got a source for this.
