jdmidwest
Rather have bats than the gang shootouts that have been taking place on the streets around here. fishinwrench
Public health officials say these are the first two bats to test positive for rabies in St. Louis County this year.
Really ? The STL "Public Health Officials" routinely capture, and test, bats ? What other critters do they chase around and monitor?

fishinwrench
I wish there was a Public Health Official in this area, testing feral cats, seed ticks, and Mutt White Bass ! 😅 Sadly we just take our chances. BilletHead, nomolites and Seth

Dutch
We have a couple of dnr ladies who come to our farm every spring and check on the bats and the blind salamanders. That’s fine with me as they are also mapping the cave since we have people wanting to build homes on top of the hill.
