Brother said owl was tough and stringy, guess they didn't cook it right. We sure have many more barred owls than we used to have here. I'd speculate 2-3 times as many calling. And if they are expanding into the other owls territory I have no doubt that they need managing. Far as  I'm concerned all the raptors need some culling.

I don't feel so bad about exterminating hawks now.  👍

It's unfortunate for them that they can't seem to acquire a taste for feral cats.

Coyotes do a great job on feral cats especially when they were tapped by a 22 first😉

My neighbor has 4 cats they let run.  They trigger my cameras all night.   It would be great if they are keeping the rodents in check.  Touch one of the birds and they’ll have a bad leadache.😆

One ran across the street a couple days ago with a squealing baby rabbit in its mouth.    I told it to watch out since you should only eat rabbit after a hard frost or two.

I used to hunt a place near me for rabbit, one year we had early snow, but no rabbit, every single rabbit warren or brush pile had house cat tracks to it and in it. Every cat I saw after that got high speed lead poising or an arrow. FYI hunting rabbits with a recurve is great fun.

I can't stand ferule cats, they might all be ferule now that I think about it.🤔

I've pulled a recurve on a feral cat before. I didn't let it fly. It was daytime and I wasn't sure is anyone was watching. I do hate them though.
