Killed and thrown over the dam from the top? Covid. Was flying upstream in the fog and ran into the dam.....or the cable. Either way.... it's free fly tying material 👍

tjm Posted September 24 Posted September 24 @BilletHead I think your question was answered in the OP " Nobody is watching." If true, then it's just speculation that the shrimp were used for bait, given the beer bottles, it could have been a picnic. Sure thing to charge the perpetrators with littering, but there doesn't seem to be basis for a poaching charge. Time to fingerprint those bottles and make arrests, then questioning might put light on the out of season goose hunt. BilletHead 1

Could you imagine....dark foggy and suddenly all heck breaks loose- hand to hand combat with a hooked goose 30 or 40 yards up river? Or gunshots? His original post said killed, not found dead so I assumed he knew the backstory or had some proof. BilletHead, bfishn and snagged in outlet 3 1 2

Quillback Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Plenty of excess ramp geese on the lakes, that one won't be missed. snagged in outlet 3 and fishinwrench 2

The "he" that you are referring to is suspected to be nuttier than a squirrel turd🙄 That pic, and the sighting of bait bags, or whatever, could have been from 10 years ago for all anyone else knows. Not everything found dead was intentionally "killed". BilletHead 1

Correct I'm just trying to get to the truth on who seen the perps and want to know about the slaughter. Yes lots of stuff goes on in the dark. Canada geese can be mean. Oh, man, do I have a story on that... involves a $7.95 Dollar Store inflatable raft, 35 feet of water, a much younger me, and the King of Cranky Ganders that convinced me that was his puddle (flogging involved). I've already passed my keyboard quota for the day, so it'll have to wait. Carry on. BilletHead and Seth 2 I can't dance like I used to.
