Too late!   Took me an hour to shovel the first 5”s and by the time I got done I did another 2”s starting at the top.   I’ll be back out there again shortly.

Same here, and about the same numbers. Kinda hard to tell the total because it’s blowing and snowing

About ¼ inch of ice under it, but we pretreated the sidewalk and drive. Lots of traffic problems around town.

12:15 and we have thunder snow.  I mean it’s really coming down.   Headed out to try and stay ahead of it.

11-inches and counting here where I'm at in KC (according to my driveway measurement). Layer of 1/4" ice underneath it. Yesterday hunted in Clinton and fished Truman, and driving back it was starting to get bad. Slid a few times but the way people were acting was too over the top. Just drive slow and don't be an idiot. Took almost 3 hrs to get home. 435 was shutdown right after I pulled in.

That’s about what we got, maybe a little more.  I shoveled 11” and I quit while it was still snowing, and there looks to be a couple more inches out there.  Thundered twice about 2 hours apart.  Pretty cool actually.

Lost power here at noon.  Main pole at end of lane took a direct hit from tree.  Fireplace and propane now with batteries lighting and playing radio.  All devices were fully charged and phone has hotspot.

Farm still has power and internet.  Not as much ice there.

Trees been popping all over yard.  Wish I had brought the pole saw and gas chainsaw back from farm now, going to be a mess here.  May have to cut way out in morning with my little Bauer saw to get to work.

We're going to end up with a trace.  It's still 32 and the lightest flurries.  My kind of winter storm, get to watch others deal with it.

I get to test all of those "just in case" toys that have been in storage.  Generator, Little Buddy heater, Propane Tank Radiant Heater, and all of my camping gear.

When was the last time that generator was started ?
