  1. Go up north all you see are Reata and they are fishing out of them. Probably gooing to be spending more than 20k
  2. The Priest and the Rabbi So the rabbi gets on the airplane and is pleasantly surprised to find he is seated next to a Catholic priest. He introduces himself, and they begin a conversation. After a while the priest turns to the rabbi, lowers his voice, and says “Tell me rabbi, I don’t know much about your religion. Is it true you are not allowed to eat pork?” The rabbi chuckles and says that, yes, it is true, he is not allowed to eat pork. He explains the laws of kosher. The priest is both puzzled and amused. He leans toward the rabbi and asks “Have you really gone your whole life without pork? Have you never had bacon or ribs? Have you never tried it once, just out of curiosity?” The rabbi is silent for a moment and then whispers “Well, yes, I did try ribs once, just out of curiosity.” “Did you like it?” “Oh, my, yes, I had ribs on a business trip to Memphis at Corky’s. They were wonderful! Did you know the founders of Corky’s were Jewish? I wish I could eat their pork all the time! Now you tell me Father, is it true that you are not allowed to have sex?” “Yes, it is true. I am married to the church.” “Tell me honestly Father. Have you never tried it, just once, just out of curiosity?” The priest is silent for a moment, and realizing that his god already knew the truth, he whispered to his new friend “I must confess, I have had sex, but only once, with a nun.” There was an awkward silence for a few moments, and finally the rabbi looks the priest in the eyes and quietly asks “Did you like it?” “Not as much as ribs” was the reply.
  3. I hunted the South Platte river in eastern CO as a kid with my dad. When the cold weather hit the river would be choked with ice coming out of the mountains. It was no place for our lab or us kids wearing rubber hip boots.
  4. I always get cold feet especially duck hunting when I typically am in shallow water. Tried some heated socks that I got off the internet. They worked great till about 10:00.as soon as they died my feet started getting cold. Can't find ones with bigger batteries. Bottomline if you find a heated vest make sure to check it's useful time range. Most have different levels. I found I needed to be on the middle setting .
  5. Living in those days would have been amazing at times and then brutal and as told deadly.
  6. OMG next time hunting with Marty he'll have a blimey accent

  9. I fish the James in the summer, not as much now as in the past. Never fished up in the area you are. Usually goff creek area on down. Have caught a few walleye but a rare occurrence. so it's either the area your'e fishing or were doing totally different techniques. I'd say the former. hope you have continued success

    Fish roe

Bussed through this thread. We had salmon roe in alaska. I would rate it a 5 out of 10. My brother in SD loves to catch Paddlefish. He get big females.. He brought a quart jar of cavier to our spring fishing trip. nothing like scooping a load of roe on a triscut. I ate half the jar. Image how much that would cost if you were eating russian caviar.
