It makes absolutely no sense on how the two diseases spread. One tick isn't going to spread Lyme disease or RMSF to more than one person. Put it this way, for 10 people to get Lyme disease or RMSF, there has to be 10 ticks since ticks die shortly after they fall off and won't bite twice. For 10 people to get COVID19, there only has to be 1 person that has it to give it to the rest. And then those 10 people can spread it to 10 more people each for 100 people, and those 100 people can spread it to 10 more each for 1000 people, etc. It really is apples to oranges.
The only similarity is if you walk into the woods that contains no ticks you won't get a tick bite. Same as if you walk into a store and no one inside isn't infected with COVID19 you aren't going to get COVID19.
