  1. In not a fan of diet, other than that, I won't turn it down.
  2. Good on you. That is very cool. I see the picture.
  3. That sounds great!
  4. I have been seeing people online who use mud motors in similar ways that I see others use jet motors. I know they are technically engines as they are operating on gasoline, not electricity. What experience or thoughts do you have? I have access to a few shallow creeks, my boat will draft them, but my prop on my 9.8 sits deeper than the boat, and I really dont want to get out and drag. I know it comes with the territory. Just would like to minimize it. My fear, or worry woukd be turning around. Pros, cons, thoughts?
  5. Good stuff. Glad you got a chance to get out. Pretty fish.
  6. As far as a measurable goal. Fish at least 1 time per month, 6 of those times in my boat. 2 times out of state. Prefer two different states.
  7. Kind of late to the game. I had a stellar year last year (for me). I would just like to build on that. I want to get my boat to a "finished" point. And really get the opportunity to use it.
  8. You missed the most important..... ned rig. Still out to the jury on which knot to tie.
  9. I can bring burgers, and a Weber grill. Anyone is free to use it. I will have charcoal also.
  10. Cool information. Thank you. I am not planning on going, but enjoyed reading it.
  11. I wasn't aware. I added that for those others who may need to know beforehand. It was a kind of two days before thought, to go trip.
  12. Fake it till you make it.
  13. It's kind of an ongoing inside joke.
  14. Inquiring minds would like to know, what did you use to land the Walter?
  15. I am a no go. I tried, just woke t make it happen. Excellent offer Phil, thank you for putting this out there. Next time....
  16. Good to see you back on here. Great catches.
  17. Took advantage of a warm winter's day, and thought I would see if some bluegill were active in the creek near my house. I bought some new fly poppers, and wanted to dust off the fly rod. I had no real idea what to expect. The water was nice and clear, I decided to use the fly that was previously tied on, and did not open the pack of poppers. I did find a couple holes, clearer water sure does help in that aspect. I was not able to entice anything to accept my fly, it was sinking into the deep. I tried a crankbait on a spinning rod. I had no intention of it working, and it didn't. My son did get to take out his kayak, and practice casting also. I only walked about 500 yards. I enjoyed the workout the flyrod gave me. I really cant wait until spring. I know of a few new to me places, and maybe, just maybe I can get my second fish on it.
  18. I did that yesterday on the creek.
  19. I dont know. They interest me. I just dont have the time (yet), or expert advice to get into shrooming.
  20. My experience was as mentioned, it was small. We are a family of 5. Time vs baking in the oven was comparable. It took u alot of space when it was not being used. "Fried" in oil still tastes better hands down. Lots of recipes, but I wasn't convinced that it was any different than a convection oven, and not enough of an improvement to my conventional oven. I ended up returning mine as the outer shell started to misform and it was getting hard to close. This was a larger name brand in the early run of newness.
  21. Are you upgrading just because? I am looking for a bow mount 12v.
  22. Merry Christmas to all.
  23. Great job!. Thanks for the report. Merry Christmas, be safe in Colorado. Beautiful state.
