Why do you sell a rod like that? Getting a 10 footer? The XP was one of Sage's best. A bit on the fast side, and 8 feet is short and wrong for the job to toss a scud.

Big Bass Tour - KVD Big Bass Classic - April 8-10th
ColdWaterFshr replied to Big Bass Tour's topic in Table Rock Lake
Line of questioning, dim-lit room, cigarette from interrogator with 2 inch ash hanging off, and no ash tray. Scribbling of polygraph audible with every question: Interrogator: Was your live-well functioning properly? KVD athlete: uh, yeah. we saw sum bubbles Interrogator: Did you plant those fish? KVD athlete: Not in soil, no sir. (scribble sound, scratch, scribble scribble scribble) Interrogator: Ever cut someone off who was working a bank before you and not been polite or been uh, mannerly? KVD athlete: You mean them dufus' from Texas in the '87 rusted Bass Tracker who Kurt and I seen? And they dint know what they was doing and throwing spooks jig and pigs and getting hung on the rocks and trees? No reason to let them screw up such good water. Yeah, Kurt was hot, so we cut in. (polygraph silent) Interrogator: Have you or your fishing pardner ever been convicted of a felony? Let me be more specific. Have either of you used live bait in a tournament with Cash-money on the line? OR, have you or your pardner, ever set up underwater traps, or employed divers to deploy said underwater traps holding TROPHY bass when no one was-uh lookin? Or you, or your pardner, ever fished with a retired ex-pro that goes by the name of Paul Dallas? KVD athlete: Strike to remove this line of questions. (nervous agitation, profuse forehead sweating) I'm confused! (erratic and wild scribbling from polygraph) Interrogator: Okay, next question. Have you ever sewn counterfeit BASS champion patches onto your undergarments? KVD athlete: Yes. Interrogator: Thats okay, thats okay, an acceptable answer. What we call in this here polygraph industry a pluh-seebo . . . , just trying to throw you off a bit. Not illegull what you dun. Next athlete please! -

A sporting event that requires a polygraph of the winning participants . . . . . .🤣🤣🤣 -
True, not much of a tier, but super nice guy. Got to meet him at one of the Smallmouth Rodeo's. His books, "Fly-Fishing for Trout in Missouri", and "200 Smallmouth Adventures" are must-haves for any beginner her in Missouri. I learned a lot from them. Also I learned a lot, particularly about fly-tying and fly-fishing, from Gavin and a few others. M Swederska. Actually going fishing with Al Agnew once or twice, and some of the other MSA members.

Yeah, let me be the first to say that I am intrigued. Killing animals and cutting down trees is what you do best. Seems very capricious of her to come back into his life, what, after waltzing away on Christmas Day like that, down in Key West of all places? They're just pine trees and squirrels, right? There's plenty more of both. Can't she just learn to accept you? Have you suggested family counseling? We will all be following this story closely. Please keep us posted with frequent updates.

Right on. No one is saying solar or LEEDs is mutually exclusive. Efficiency gains can be found across a wide range of things, not just high-efficiency HVAC, but also insulation, better windows, construction design and materials -- a whole range of things. To pick out solar and say, "eh" it can't pay for itself, therefore I dismiss it, is a bit lazy.

LEED certified homes aren't just a hobby.

I was in a 15 foot canoe. My younger brother in the front -- who is slightly top heavy and clumsy -- made a sudden lean to the left, and with that, we were going for a swim. 😂

The last time I dumped was on the NFOW. A chap by the name of Forsythian (Ken) saved me. Though I'm sure I would have been okay, I would've lost my boat and some fishing rods. He just happened to be puttering around in a jet-yak where we dumped and came to the rescue in deep swift water. Its a river to be respected for sure. I would like to explore the extreme upper stretch around 76 Hwy and Topaz. Have never been above Twin Bridges.

I'll buy the lone white one with the blue accents. $9. Take it or leave it. Does it come with a warranty?

I grew up on Quaker Oats and Malt o Meal. Big clump of brown sugar, a pat of butter, and some whole milk poured into that to keep it from getting too thick. Good stuff. Also, cinnamon toast and graham crackers with butter were a usual snack.

Tamales from a wonderful authentic Mexican place down the street. Grandma there from the old country makes them fresh weekly. They are divine. Even frozen, steam them for 12 minutes. Can't decide which I like better, the pork, or the cheese and jalapeño.

Yeah, mainly for treatment of parasites, or head lice . . .not viruses. Where it gets REALLY goofy is when people are taking the veterinarian/equine version of it. To those people, I say go for it!

Yeah, go ahead and load up on horse de-wormer if you're less afraid of it than the vaccine. 🤣🤣

Cheers to choice and wasting time and blocking traffic for no good reason. Now get back to work! -

Misguided foolishness. No mandates still exist here that I am aware of so what is the point unless they are actually doing their job along the way and delivering stuff. I don't give 2 hoots for their grandstanding nonsense or their cause. Block some roads and get arrested, fine with me. Otherwise, get back to work. -

Its a good question and Nomo is partly right. I think there are several reasons why they want to invade: 1) since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, and Ukraine's becoming a sovereign country in the 90's, Russia has forever since wanted it back. Large land area, huge grain producer, strategic location and border. 2) Putin is concerned about Ukraine joining NATO, and rightfully so. This would be another country, with a fairly strong military, now as a confirmed adversary (even though they already are), right on their doorstep. With NATO's backing, that means allies. So for Putin, with his ego now fully involved and on display, I don't think he has a choice. He has made this into the equivalent of our Cuban missile crisis. Sondland being appointed as ambassador to the EU was a major blunder, and our hands are not clean. Fiona Hill and Lt. Col Vindman's dismissal and all that other stuff helped set the table. Just my $0.02

It was a boring game. Was only able to watch half-time and the 2nd half. Glad that was all I had to endure. Its a struggle to sit through 4 hours of over-hyped nonsense when you realize only 1 hour of that is the actual game. Like baseball, they need to trim down to 2.5 hours, but we know that will never happen. Half-time show was mediocre. Mary J Blige was awful, and shouldn't be wearing those kind of outfits anymore. Eminem was bad. Snoop always cracks me up, so he saved the whole production. Watched some of the post-game show. When Chris Matthews declared that the final drive of the Rams was one of "the best in Super Bowl history", I almost threw up. And then when Kroenke came out, I really did throw up. Now I'm thinking the whole thing was rigged so that Kroenke and the NFL could re-coup some of the $790 million he has to pay to St. Louis. The pringles can, stuck on the hand, was the only mildly funny ad that caught my attention.

Got this letter today from a girlfriend I broke up with back last summer She was a part time hooker, but I loved her all the same, and . . . . now the discovery, the baby might be mine. Hey Paul, I'm pregnant. Living on 9th Street. Right above a dirty bookstore off Euclid Avenue I stopped taking dope. And I quit drinking whiskey. And my old man plays the trombone And works out at the track. He says that he loves me, even though its not his baby. And he says that he'll raise him up, like he would his own son. He gave me a ring, that was worn by his mother. And he takes me out dancin', every Saturday night Hey Paul, I think about you every time I pass a fillin' station. On account of all the grease you used to wear in your hair. I still have that record of Little Anthony and The Imperials. But someone stole my record player, well how do ya like that? Hey Paul, I almost went crazy, after Mario got busted. So I went back to Omaha to live with my folks and everyone I used to know, was either dead or in prison. So I came back to St. Louis, this time I think I'm gonna stay Hey Paul, I think I'm happy, for the first time since my accident, and I wish I had all the money that we used to spend on dope. I'd buy me a used car lot and I wouldn't sell any of 'em. I'd just drive a different car every day, dependin' on how I feel Hey Paul, for chrissakes, do you want to know the truth of it? I don't have a husband. He don't play the trombone I need to borrow money. To pay this lawyer. And Paul, hey I'll be eligible for parole, come Valentine's Day
