Sounds like trouble. I can't imagine how many pd off fisher people, and other pleasure boat operators this will create. Hate to be the poor kid that answers the phone. Does the Coast Guard license the boat operators?
It is nice when the leaves are off and the frat houses aren't on the river. That trip is bad news on summer weekends.
Another nice float on that river is from cat hollow down to BSSP. We usually do that trip on St. Patricks day.
Just a wild guess, excess grease on spool face? I can't make the one I have on my desk do it. Might give Glenn's Reel& Rod Repair in Des Moines a call, 515 262-2990. glennsreel@aol.com Thats where Pflueger sent me to buy spare spools. They are nice and helpful, maybe they can help. Good luck!
I own several 6920 and have never had any problems, great reels. Can't believe you got 2 bad reels. Will wait for the video before I take a guess, good luck!
Reading this has taught me many things. #1 Very talented people here. #2 I don't need this part of the fishing hobby, I am on purge mood. #3 IF.... I was to start this I would let my auto body friend shoot the clear when he was cleaning up.
My folks and brother, nephews etc live out that way. I think that lake is like our LOZ. Party Cove etc. But I WILL make it a point to check the fishing out. What great fish!
I lost a Gerber Multi tool, it could be hiding in a tackle box or bag somewhere but I miss it. Haven't been near Holiday Island in several years so it's not mine, but I applaud your effort Bill!
