    Fishing at Rolly Blunks one spring for white bass, when I was a kid, my Dad told the Agent "If you want to see my license, wade on out here to where I'm fishing."

    Purchased my 100 MPH shortly after I retired in the early/mid 90's, still keeps me dry. Can't comment on the current editions.

    I'd try one medium, with 8 and the other with 10. Like has been said I've caught 20+ pound drum on my medium crankbait rod with 8, 15 pound flathead catfish out of a tree on dropshot rod with 8 also. If you don't trust your drag learn to back reel. Good line is hard to break unless nicked, stretched or has a bad knot ( I use a Uni for almost everything).

    Sad to hear, Jim was my first draw in the old CPAA, had the pleasure of fishing with him a couple of times. Got a lesson in early winter fishing docks.

    I've had several days when the fish wanted one of my weighted Rogues, way more than any of the high dollar baits.

    Only experience I have is Aurora Canvas. Mid-nineties Basscat cover that is heavy, but still in great shape, works well.

    Pay the GOLD and they will let you enter. Maybe the GOLD is on their end, $176.000 over payback isn't bad if they get a full field.

    Caught a lot of frogs as a kid , with an old cane pole and the red cellophane from Dad's cigarette pack.

    Great view and location, especially nice that no one will build in front of ya and spoil it.

    When I was young and fished in the cold I layered under my 100 MPH if it was gonna be moist, and had a cheap snowmobile suit if it was dry. You can't beat a snowmobile suit, it's not bulky, since it needs no layering and has a nice seal against the wind.

    I used to use the Mill Creek ramp a lot for that part of the lake.

    The clouds will have more affect than the temp.

    My wife talks about that show, endlessly. She was around 14/15 at the time. I have an older female cousin that probably saw Elvis 40 times.
