  1. Caught near the dam on Pomme. I know there is a population of muskie, but I think this is a northern pike. ????
  2. They are biting up the James. Stanley wedge caught this one. I haven't fished much lately and don't get to report often. Thought I would contribute.
  3. Convenience store West of Cape Fair bridge has minnows.

Fished Cape Fair this afternoon. Fish bit for an hour around 1 pm on spinnerbait and then seemed to quit. Brown fish on spinnerbait is a good time.
  5. Dirtrider, Grew up near there and floated this stretch several times. I would guess there isn't enough water to float now. We used to put in half way between charity and hico and that was a good days float. I don't think the put in half way between is public now. Lot of fish to be caught on that stretch to be sure.
  6. Had a report that Sunday they were catching then within sight of the Galena bridge.
  7. We used to put in at a ramp on Schooner Creek for free. Last time I was there the sign said $5, if I remember correctly.
  8. Wanted to pass along a little info. Caught a limit today, mostly in 10 feet of water on minnows. Not much right on the bank. Bite was really good about 5 PM on. Good luck
  9. I've used Steve Waugh on a few trips. Steve is a native and knows the area well. Shallow water only, snook, redfish tarpon etc. We usually stay on Captiva and he meets me there. His website is www.captainsw.com.
  10. Put in at mill creek and fought the wind. Caught one good one on a wiggle wart that weighed five and a half in ten feet of water. Water temp right at 50. There were more there just couldn't fight the wind.
  11. Fished 11:30-4:30 today in the Big M area. Threw a jerkbait most of the afternoon, caught one spot. 50-52 degree water.
