One only needs to walk along the rearing pools at Bennett and look at the # of fish and the size. Way less and way smaller than it used to be . Anyone remember the large fish and the numbers in the upper rearing pools south of the highway bridge ,they don't have those anymore. There are many raceways that are totally empty at Bennett. Let us not even talk about the weeds and such growing around the new hatchery building. And by the way don't comment if you haven't been down there in the last 20 years.

get yourself 2 rods. I like to use a 7' 3' inch Boyd Duckett medium heavy for both Chatter baits, swim jigs and spinner baits. You will love it

Don't waste your time going to Bass Pro for any decent sale item. They get 3-5 of those items per store . I have been at their stores when they open the doors and most times those items are already gone by the time I get to where they are supposed to be . They are not ever going to fool me again.

everyone needs a cork soaker -
I don't know why my line gets hooked around the hooks with the big jerk baits when I throw them on spinning rods. Small jerk baits don't seem to . I just like a casting reel better. I like to sweep the hooks into the fish, it is just easier with a casting rod.
