  5. It is neat stuff but I would add some other caution. Waterfowl hunted with a friend who had it in his boat. When it is wet and freezes really, really slick, it does kind of absorb some water and when it freezes it is like an ice cube. Treat it accordingly.
  6. Priceless right there @Devan S. but you know it!
  7. Dang
  8. And a few yellow perch kicked in. Oh yea don't ya know.
  9. Most excellent Jeff!
  10. So we can enjoy those crazy fish. And I do.
  11. You only prune the ones that have had fruit. Leave the new ones totally alone.
  12. Great. I hope and feel you will like it. In your case maybe a bit more water depending on rainfall. Maybe less also. As far as soil might supplement some miracle grow or equivalent granules down watering tube. I don't premix with water just pour down tubes. Your spot looks nice. In the thick of things I would say we get about 50% of daylight. Do miss some of the morning and late afternoon.
  13. Do I see maybe their might be some double watering tubs?
  14. Hey that's neat. Quite a nose on it. I call it the Jimmy Durante variety. As Jimmy would say , “All of us have schnozzles... if not in our faces, then in our character, minds or habits. When we admit our schnozzles, instead of defending them, we begin to laugh, and the world laughs with us.”

This, I could not tell you the last time I had a steak at a restaurant. I bet 20 years plus or more. If I did order it would be med rare. I am of the rps camp. I want control of my meat. Do the sous vide exactly the same or if it is a spur of the moment deal skip the sous vide and onto a blazing hot grill and test with a instant meat thermometer at less than desired temp and let it finish a bit more on counter resting.
  16. And one I call a true friend. Hard to find anymore. One the BilletHeads hold close in our circle.
  17. You and and sandy did good Rick!
  18. Hive beetles like shade. Bees are good at controlling the temperature in the hive. I have limited sun exposure in my hive area. I would take more sun IMO.
  19. I actually have used one! It was in that shape too.
  20. Yes condolences from the BilletHead family also.
  21. Yes here too John . I did not want to speak too soon and jinx things.
  22. My old buddy (RIP Richard) lumped those like that in one category. I can hear him now "Look at that slab!" I miss that guy.
  23. Good photos and trip synopsis all the way around John!
  24. Man! That fish is shaped just like the angler that caught it!
