Love reading about the various traditions everybody has. And, I won't judge yours or preach about mine. Best thing is to have family and friends, and have *your* traditions. 

But...I'm a sentimental sap, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are pretty traditional with us. Here's a photo from last Thanksgiving:

We tend to do steak or if I have them a venison loin meal on Xmas Eve, then we would decorate the tree after dinner. this would usually include a glass of red wine or two.....

I'm slow smoking a salmon side for lox and bagels for tomorrow early T-day.  There will also be prime rib, shrimp scampi and assorted appetizers and sides.  No turkey or ham this year.

That looks like my house. Where are the police?

We do ours the Saturday after while camping & trout fishing. Think 8-10 adults and 9 kids coming for dinner in the wall tent next Saturday. Our police officer and his son are maybe’s.
