The real shame is that none of us who support C&R can ever post another bit of information on here without wondering if it is being used to kill bass. Frankly, I feel kind of foolish for ever trusting that practically everyone on here supported C&R because obviously that is not the case. I'm sure we get a lot of drive-by guests who kill their catch, but sure had no idea so many members still do.

And please don't try to convince me that it doesn't hurt anything to kill a few. It's my opinion that it DOES hurt and you are not going to change that. Far as MDC numbers go, they would not be the first government agency ever to spin their data to support their actions. For whatever reason, they are not inclined to stock bass in Table Rock, so every fish killed is just another gone, leaving only nature to replace it.

Yes, you can legally kill 6 bass a day. But I am not going to give you information that might help you do it, and neither are some other folks who have helped grow this forum into one of the very best anywhere on the internet.

now there is going to be an uproar over a simple graphic?

Don't you know? You can't offend people anymore! If you even think someone might disagree you are a hateful bigot!

Sorry I contributed to a complete derailing of the original thread. Hanging around a boat ramp on holiday weekends can be some of the best entertainment around. Working around the lake for the last 25 years or so I have seen fights, near divorces, some really ugly accidents that came from something very simple. I knew a gentleman who rent a campsite nearest the boat ramp and spend the weekend on ramp duty, pair of binoculars, and a cooler of cold beer sitting under his awning.

You SHOULD assume that the information you provide IS going to lead to "X" number of bass being caught and kept.

I helped a guy on Bull Shoals. He was CLULESS. after his trip, He called me so excited about the fish he caught and that he kept and ate two (2) 19 inch smallmouth. I was freaking sick about it. Maybe they really weren't 19 inch fish, but they were two really nice fish that would still be swimming if I had not over shared. I made it very clear how unhappy I was and now I tend to give him tips on walleye and crappie and be really vague on bass.

Maybe we can have a sub forum in the Table Rock forum for the C&R guys with a special password code from Phil to get in so we can post reports and pics without prying eyes? The "Free Bass Masons" of Ozark Anglers if you will. Very hush hush, elitist and custom black jersey robes with OA logo embroidery for it's exclusive members.

You're a better man than I Mr Bill. I would have asked what's going on, suggested to pull the trailer up as you did and once the curse word was unfurled like recent flags waiving around....

I'd walk away and say..

My folks have a place just across from Bass Pro .when the old ramp was just below we would watch boats and cars back clear in more than once with just the roof of the vehicle sticking out of the water.
