Not sure about today or anytime after Sunday(majority of what i seen was friday) but I can assure you the fish I did see near Campbell's point were bass and crappie...there were gizzards as well...I have been Bass fishing this lake for over 20 years, definitely a difference between them!

Back home for a while, hopefully this all clears up and the majority of what everyone is seeing are just shad dying off

I hope the game and parks can figure out what is going on. I REALLY hope that something isn't going on that will hurt the fish population too much!!

We love it down there and it is terrible to hear about a fish die off any kind.

Had lunch today in Omaha Arkansas. There were three guys at the table next to me saying Bull Shoals is just full of HUGE Dead Gizzard Shad. Lots of them pushing 20" One said about every cove he fished this last weekend were packed with rafts of them.

One of the other guys was saying he has also been seeing them floating all over Table Rock. I jumped in and asked if any of them had seen any dead bass and all said nope, just the huge Gizzard Shad.

So I guess the question is can these guys tell the difference in a shad and a bass? :)

The back of big Indian above Baxter had a lot of dead fish Saturday. Enough that we commented on it, and checked a few out. We seen two dead walleye, a huge shad, a small large mouth, and a big white. There seemed to be more dead in the back.
