Save us all a bunch of money & time, put him in prison where he gets free room & board, 3 squares a day, a nice warm bed, free medical & dental & our tax dollars pay for it to the tune of thousands of dollars a year. Then later on down the road he is out & hurts how many more people & destroys how many more families. One bullet, one wooden box, & one trip to the local cremation chamber & we are all better off. OK, but can we have a trial first ? Not everything is as it seems/sounds. Let's be 100% sure before sentencing. MOPanfisher and ness 2
Nitroman Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Sure can, as long is it doesn't take our fantastic legal system 2 to 3 years to accomplish it. This thing should be over & done with in 90 days, not 24 to 36 months. I am all for & all in on give them their day in court. cheesemaster Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Justice will be served, definitely not at the level I prefer which is the same as many of you have expressed. I will be getting my ccw next month and I pray I never have to use it, but I will not hesitate too if need be. I will be keeping the friends and family members in my prayers. 5bites 1

If I was the brother that chased him I would have probably burned the vehicle. Looks like a fine upstanding citizen.

Tanderson15 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 CCW and always be aware of surroundings and be prepared. Make sure of your safe space. Don't carry sometimes but always. Too many AH out there. I always make sure my wife does to. It's a shame it's come to a point I won't pickup a hitchhiker or help someone without backup

It's a shame it's come to a point I won't pickup a hitchhiker or help someone without backup There has always been bad guys out there, it is just that now we have internet so even a bad thing happening in Louisiana/Colorado/California seems TOO CLOSE TO HOME. But speaking of CCW I just learned that if you ever use your carry "weapon" to defend yourself that you lose it pretty much forever (at least 7 years, but usually much longer). And that you won't be able to go out and buy a new one right away. Is that true ? mjk86 1
5bites Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Wrench I've personally never heard of that. I don't doubt you lose your gun but the not buying another one definitely doesn't sound right. Fact is the legal fees will likely have you to broke to replace your gun. Expect family members to try and cash in no matter what the circumstances.
