inshore Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I got an idea. why don't we give Oklahoma to the Indians and let them worry about it. wait we already did that.
176champion Posted September 3, 2016 Author Posted September 3, 2016 It shook here for what seemed like 5 minutes...it woke me up at 7am and the bed was shaking and dishes rattling...first thought was rock quarry blasting but it lasted to long...lol..rock quarry about 2 miles down the road from me.. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/strong-oklahoma-earthquake-felt-from-nebraska-to-texas/ar-AAirgWx?li=BBnb7Kz I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Old plug Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 You all understand how fracking works I suppose. They take oil out of the earth that has been make by the earths own heat. Then they go and fill up the quafers and what not with waste water. It would certainly seem to me that the water is going to heat up and expand. I understand the vibrations from a earth quake follow geological formation miles down in the earth. That is why some do not feel it and other do. I see 3's almost constantly out of Okla. maybe we do not feel it up here but I wonder what is going on a hundred or so ft down. It is going on all over the planet. Just down load the My Radar map and select it to be shown. You will be very surprised just how shaky this world is. We certainly do not need to be contributing more to it. They need to pour money into rapid public transit. Everytime I see other places in the world they are so far ahead of us it is pitiful. Katy trail might be a big thing for some of you but that thing could have become a high speed rail.

MOPanfisher Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 High speed rail and earthquakes seem an odd combination in one post. Seems like an earthquake would play heck with a high speed train. vernon 1
m&m Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I've always wondered about earthquakes. They say that they are caused by the plates shifting. I wonder when a plate in Oklahoma shifts don't you think that the other end of that plate would also shift? And wouldn't that cause a quake at the other end? So does anyone think the plate in Italy is connected to the plate in Oklahoma? Just wondering. Mike Daryk Campbell Sr 1

Like said above these quakes are man made from fracking practices. No fault lines to link up with other quake regions.
