Bill Babler Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Guys I’m getting a lot of emails thru OAF forum and instant message. Our carrier cannot access Ozark Anglers. I have to post everything thru my phone with my WiFi off. Please either call me 417-332-7016 or email me at whiteriverbb@msn.com. Sorry for the inconvenience but we have worked on this since Phil changed servers and ours is just not going to be compatible. Sore Thumbs Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Has something to do with IP address. You can go online and google how to open ports up on your modem. That will allow you to go to whatever site you want. It’s not easy but if you know someone with some computer knowledge it should be easy for them.
Seth Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 I cant see it being a port issue. This site is accesseed over port 80, which is your basic internet port. Have you tried different browsers or a different DNS server? Sore Thumbs 1
jdmidwest Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 When you say its your carriers fault, then they need to figure it out on their end. Probably a firewall issue on your carrier side. May have something to do with net neutrality, expect a bill.... No issues on this side of the state. Forum has not had any hitches in a long time here. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 4, 2018 Root Admin Posted January 4, 2018 He's talked to his carrier lots of times... I can't figure it out either. He's the only one that I know of. If I knew someone else that uses that carrier, it'd be interesting if they could access the site.
176champion Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Just for giggles who is Bill's carrier? I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
MoCarp Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Opera is a free browser that has a built in VPN..... MONKEYS? what monkeys?
jdmidwest Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 If it is all devices he owns trying to go thru the same carrier, may be carrier issue. Try setting him up a test account with new login and password and see what happens. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
