Almost sounds like something is blocking his specific MAC address.

Yeah thought it might be a dupe mac issue,  but it checked out clear.   Def like that though that his specific mac on those devices are being blocked...

Busting out some wireshark tomorrow,  and bringing in some more NERDS to look at it lol.

Would anything past Bill's router even be aware of his devices MAC's though? I thought the MAC info was only available on the local network (layer 2 traffic) and then it was all IP based past the router once traffic reaches the internet. He has the same trouble on his mobile devices as well, right?

Maybe Phil's server host can figure something out on his end. Would be nice if it was just a quick fix on his end.

I'm wondering if his provider is blocking it for some reason, especially if he can't access the site on his phone with the WiFi on.

Seriously now, you guys are just making all this stuff up as you go - right?

"Tried multiple browsers, flushed DNS, nuked browser settings, checked IPsec settings, Driver settings, lmhosts mods, Firewall config, Internal router settings" and then refer to this as "the usual stuff"?

Nobody outside of maybe NASA talks like that.

Especially out loud and where other people can hear them.

We took the real nerdy talk to PM's. :)  We'll get him figured out.  Just got to find the gremlin causing the issue...  @moguy1973 I wish it was his provider, but my laptop worked just fine on his network, which is why this ones a real bugger.

I just recently endured an Outboard Motor Tech training session that sounded just like that.  I've pretty much decided that once nothing is mechanical anymore, then it's time for me to consider retirement.
