ColdWaterFshr Posted January 29, 2018 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Arrived at Cardiac yesterday morning around 8. Temp was 24F and parking lot full. Suicide parking lot just as bad. Said small prayer and slid down the hill, fished for 3 hours. Landed 2 fish. 1 brown and 1 bow. The last times I've been the fishing has been "less than stellar". Good to hear there are actually some fish still around. Thanks for the report. Johnsfolly Posted January 30, 2018 Share Posted January 30, 2018 Its been a long time since I fished either spot. The best fishing was after there was a big accidental release from the trout park. I personally found better places to fish for both numbers, size of fish, and also more aesthetics. Makes it hard to go back to a spot that for me didn't hold that potential. The 3 hours there was filled with anticipation; the 3 hours back was filled with smiles and satisfaction (and exhaustion).
