But I haven't been down there for a few years. Me too. Late 70's & all thru the 80's it was "what, you didn't catch your limit" white bass area fishing. We even chased them all the way to the dam some years. Each year it got worse until we gave up. snagged in outlet 3 1

Load up drive 4 hours south pull in to a huge crowd fishing and the first cast I catch a trout. Never saw a white. never heard of one caught. Drove home two days later after hitting Taney for more trout. tho1mas and patfish 2
MOPanfisher Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Many years ago i loved in Forsyth and any time you could see a ton of folks fishing it usually meant the fishing was good, but catching was bad. grizwilson 1

Ham Posted February 24, 2018 Author Posted February 24, 2018 I think guys guard crappie Spots a little more, but I hear you. As a point of clarification, I was asking IF it was happening and NOT where it was happening. mixermarkb 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
grizwilson Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Since the arrival of cell phones I have been catching well on fly rod on both Swan and Beaver, someone shows up, I tell them what is working, pretty soon it looks like opening day at the trout parks.
