In most of the last few shootings, red flags were up all around before the shooting happened.  The system failed to work and crazy did its things

There's just no way to determine crazy until someone does something really stupid and harmful.  But wait!  I have done stupid and harmful things, matter of fact I'm doing one right now (smoking a cigarette).  Should I be institutionalized?   

Some idiot just went flying up my road at a rediculous speed, he should definitely be scheduled for treatment.  

Won't be long until we are all shackled in a giant concrete compound playing chess.   I mean who can be trusted?  Cops are raping kids, the governor has been arrested on felony charges......I mean WTF?  Right?

I think it could be successfully argued that the Florida shooter is not mentally ill.  

People get pissed or disgusted and react differently. In one extreme you have people that kill in biblical fashion, and at the other extreme you have those that just pout and cry.    When God got pissed/disgusted he sure wasn't a pout and cryer.   It is believed by plenty that man was made in his image, so....

You will never know how you will respond to incoming fire until you experience it. It is the fog of war. Scared to death, as is everyone. A leader needs to be there to  motivate the  troops to confront & destroy the MF's who are shooting at you. Do not fault they guy for it.  Did 6yrs in the USMC and never had to walk into a hot zone. Would not know how I would react. Easy to toss him under the bus and play wouda, couda, shouda. but think did nothing wrong. If someone motivated his posterior to get in the show, think he would have gone.

Disagree!   He was in a spot to save lives if he just did his job.  He was paid to protect those kids. He didn't.    The Sheriff of Broward County should be fired.  Four of his deputies hid while the kid that they knew (39 times)was on tilt.   Most men would not have to be motivated.
