Release boats?

When they had the KVD big bass tournament a few weeks ago , where do the release boats release the fish ? Long creek area or do they go up more to the Dam area????

Every one I have ever known of has just went out of sight of the ramp.  They typically don't put anymore hours on that rig than they have to.  Especially if it's a less than beautiful day.

I let one of my guys be a helper on one a few years ago.  It was in the summer time.  He said they did what wrench said along with slitting the belly of any fish that looked weak so they would not get a bad rap for floating fish.

That's ALOT of relocated bass, just for one month on one lake.   There are even more inthe following months.  

Why is the tournament fishing community so slow to warm up to a better format?   I don't get it.

Table Rock has a bunch of tournaments also this month FLW is coming the 20th of this month..

Catch, photo, weigh, release.  Except that it's too hard.  And it's no fun back at the big weigh in.

Wouldn't that require a judge of some sort in every boat?

Kayak tournaments operate this way already.
