Just flat ran out of keeper fish Ladies and gentleman this lake has been pounded and pounded. There is not a stretch of bank or really any off shore structure that has not been totally hammered from prior to the Big Bass Bash till today. 10’s of thousands of man hours. Michael caught his on a Spring Craw RK a Biffle Bug and a couple of great Jaws on. Spro Blue Bandit His fish were on gravel in 12 to 15 feet on the White River above Baxter. Henssely caught them on a Rig. Fishing up the White. Shotgunning pts. Cuts and pockets. 3 or 4 throws and on to the next location. It was a winning formula These fish need a little rest. Hope some nasty weather comes in and gives them a few days off. I’m scheduled for the Rock all week and I hope I’m rained out Good Luck Get ready for about 300 boats in a tournament next Saturday out of Kimberling. There will be several practicing this week.

Members NebSchmidty Posted April 22, 2018 Members Posted April 22, 2018 Man I have horrible timing for spring vacations on this pond. Ok, cool ,record flood, good, good, snow, ok, good, great, record flood, 800 boats in 3 weeks. Sept/Oct trips are just gravy on the turkey. At least we caught 2 on ol' ned in 15 before the rain chased us off tonight. First quick day down, 8 full ones to go.
Travis Swift Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Since they are weigh in at the Branson landing are they releasing those fish in Taney or taking them back to the rock?

Members Greg nicks Posted April 22, 2018 Members Posted April 22, 2018 If it was Taney that would very bad. Don't think that would ever happen.
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 The Taney Bass would just gobble up those little TR bass gurzik, Ketchup, mixermarkb and 1 other 1 3

Was there last year when the flood hit; cut a 2 week trip down to 1 week. Plus we both got hail dents in our trucks. Still love coming to TR though!! We get there for 2 weeks starting the 27th of this month.
curtisce Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Haven't seen any comments on co angler winner putting 39# in the back of Pete Wenners boat while he gets only 9# The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
