Now...what about us old-farts that don't need a fishing license anymore ?

No need to apply for the license means you don't need the number to apply. I guess...  I get to burn my license in a few months.  Might do it on the lake!  Not sure when I bought my first.  Age 14 was it?   Never been checked in all this time.  Visited with agents and even had a bass measured once, but never been asked for the permit.  All that money wasted!

Reading of the 2nd discloses no reference to hunting, the only firearms protected are  those necessary for the militia and for self protection.

That sounds rediculous.  Can you give me an example of a few of those?   Who could possibly stand amongst a pile of guns and sort them as such?

Every action needs not be either a right or a priveledge. Those are just made up words, and putting context and discussion to those words just shows that you are ultimately mind-controlled.   I'm fixin' to go poop, and whether I have a right to do it or it is a granted priveledge has never/will never be a consideration of mine.  Try to stop me from doing it....and things are gonna get messy.

People who haven't harmed anyone yet need to be left alone. That's the thing that the government and the laws of our country are getting wrong. If a policeman wants to just shoot the bull then that's cool and fine, but the moment they start being authoritive without a good reason they are breaking the rules of peace.

But can't every firearm be classified for self protection?

Yeah, I’m not sure how you’d differentiate firearms like that nor am I sure the premise is true. “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” While Supreme Courts have wrestled with the meaning, if you just parse it out a with a bit of understanding of history, seems to me that the writers were mostly concerned with being against the idea of a big standing army and thought militias that could be formed by the federal or state governments should take the place of a national army, not hold it in check. Hence the “well regulated” and “necessary to the security of a free state” wording...note it did not say “necessary to the security FROM the state”. But then it said “the right of the PEOPLE”, not “right of the states to arm the people”, which would mean the people should keep the arms. Period. Any other use of those arms that didn’t run afoul of laws would then be implied to be a part of the right to bear them. And given the times, I kinda doubt that the writers could have envisioned a time when almost nobody would need guns just to survive on the frontier.

I’ll let you know what my attorney fees are for that opinion😁😁

The differentiation is already being made by people (some on this forum) that say "you don't need this gun to hunt". No doubt at all that gun owners will vote for gun confiscation in the end, all the while saying "you don't need that gun because I don't want that gun."

I'll never be pro gun confiscation regardless of the type of gun.  But saying "I want an AR15 because it's the best choice for the type of game hunting I do"....is a giant crock of bull butter.

Who cares about your SSN.

Good grief. Every one knows everything about you all the time.

If you want privacy, close your curtains.

(Don’t forget to tell your ma and pa and chillens to keep them muskets handy just in case).

"Next year a small, painless number tattooed on the inside of your left wrist. For your own safety, and security of course!"..... copied from "rjw1991A1" over on 1Branson.

This new Statute to be enacted in response to my sarcastic comment about us "old-farts" that no longer need a fishing license.  😅🤔

I knew a guy that gets on this forum that has been using an ex G-Friend's  G-Paw's name to have a hunting/trapping/fishing license because he has been in arrears of child support for over a decade...he has no drivers license as well, next year I guess he's screwed!....when you see people caught without a license 90% its because they can't get one for this reason and when the CO looks at ID they are busted.....

Been there....its a joke
