navery Posted June 3, 2018 Author Posted June 3, 2018 I think it would be safe to consider yourself the tail support if you did something so rude as to cause them to hot lap(go in circles) you? To be honest, I wouldn't sink to their level, but I will have words with them from now on. I can bite with the best of them, but choose not to because this is a hobby I truly enjoy and use as stress relief from job sites. But if this is the direction of some peoples mentality, then trust me, I can be an angry ahole also. I guess the sport of fishing is going to hell just like everything else. Biggest ahole gets the best fishing spot.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 3, 2018 Root Admin Posted June 3, 2018 Let's clean up the language.... symbols and all. Thanks Hunter91, Ham and MoCarp 3
navery Posted June 3, 2018 Author Posted June 3, 2018 That escalated quickly, lol. I apologize. As I said, I am usually under a lot of stress at work and use fishing and getting outside as a way to relieve some of said stress. So after compartmentalizing everything from life and work, the valve opens a little too quickly at times. Sorry to those i offended. On a more positive note, there are walleye biting at the pothole. MOPanfisher Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Those type of people are certainly not limited to lakes or even fishing in general. You can find them at Wal Mart, the gas station and at a resturant. The key is never let a person like that ruin YOUR good time. james, MoCarp, liphunter and 1 other 4
Hunter91 Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Just a comment. In my 45 years of fishing experience, you can find many more fisherman that will go out of their way to assist you on the water when you need it whether they are in a tourney or just waylaying the fish. I have been towed in by guys in tourneys who are losing time by doing so and have towed people in. I have been turned on to a crappie and white bass bite by total strangers that I was being courteous to by not crowding. We have all been there, I agree with MoPanfisher, dont let the discourteous ones ruin a day for you. mixermarkb, evilcatfish, tjm and 4 others 7
Old plug Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Strange thing about these magnet spots It is usually because some folks seem to want to tip everyone they see. Guess that is good for their ego. patterns change ,weather changes just to many changes really tell someone where a good spot is. Personally I am selfish about my spots I worked to find that spot for today tomorrow more than likely it will be something or somewhere else

Members Mr. Smallfish Posted June 5, 2018 Members Posted June 5, 2018 Those Pythagoreans. Is there anything they don't know?
top_dollar Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 I've found (being sufficiently overweight) that fishing in a speedo keeps people at a minimum of 100 yards. Or, when in doubt crank up some death metal. MoCarp, evilcatfish, mixermarkb and 3 others 1 5
navery Posted June 7, 2018 Author Posted June 7, 2018 What you do not want to happen to you, do not do it yourself either. " – Sextus the Pythagorean As mentioned earlier, I don't crowd others as I don't like to be crowded. I patiently wait until they are finish our look for fish elsewhere. I like to think of it more as the golden rule, but, to each their own. I like the speedo idea, I just don't believe I have the confidence to pull it off.... Daryk Campbell Sr 1
