Is usually more along the lines of the blowing up for no reason lol. All i know is ive broke a few of those stick style ones and when i did have them i could look back in the mirror and that engine would wiggle all over the place. 3 years with the Motor Mate and no issues Right on. Certainly do as you wish. As for Optimax motor mounts though...Very common. I've replaced 5 I think, and the Merc dealer up the road has done at least a dozen on warranty.

It worked didn't it? I offered to help you push back over....I did not stare. I would stare at your girl friend though. So let me know if you get one. fishinwrench, Daryk Campbell Sr, nomolites and 3 others 6

aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 30, 2019 Posted January 30, 2019 i did that once, i loaded my boat and drove it to the resort i was at about 3 blocks away so i told my buddy no to mess with the back straps. Well he decided to put one on. So the next morning me and another buddy go, he dumps me in and my boat pivoted around on that one strap and he started up the ramp, I yelled as loud as i could to stop and he barely did. Thank god, he would have drug me up the ramp motor first. Ad he was in a big loud Cummins deisel so he couldnt hear crap. Barely avoided tragedy tho1mas, Terrierman and snagged in outlet 3 3

Slipping and straddling the trailer tongue one night might have been the ultimate. Cracked (possibly broke) a rib on a winch stand once. Took 3 months to heal from that one. Live & learn. Wind was blowing like crazy, waves coming over the transom, in a hurry to get the boat pulled out. Wish I had just taken my time and let it sink on the trailer, wouldn't have hurt anything.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 I might screw up but at least I’m out playing the game. Only got hurt on a couch once. She caught me off guard Terrierman 1

snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 I find I miss more things when I have someone along helping me. If not I just go through my routine and don't seem to miss things as much. For that reason I would just as soon do it all myself. Terrierman 1

It's always the same stupid question from the person in the back of the boat while I'm trying to fish, "Should water be coming up through this drain in the floor?" fishinwrench, snagged in outlet 3 and nomolites 1 2
