Finished 13th out of 100 boats today. When we weighed in we were sitting in 2nd. Then the A-Rig bags came in hard and heavy. 8.20 was big fish.  23 lbs won. Caught all fish on RK or Jerkbaitin.  14 keepers total. It's a great problem trying to cull 3 lbers.  They are starting to move up. Wt: 48-49.

Nice day! Sounds like they are all over. Got any recommendations? I'm heading out tomorrow and haven't been out since October.

Congrats on a great day and also on not flinging the Hero Maker rig. Nice job.

Why? Is your problem with it that it works too well? Are you incapable of throwing it? Can't afford it? You knock it all the time, what's your deal? Your comments on almost everything are usually negative and consistently have a "holier than thou" vibe, who hurt you?

I know Champ can respond for himself, but I'll throw in my two cents. The main reason the Arig is frowned upon by so many good fisherman is that any rumdumb, like myself can catch big fish with little or no SKILL. This time of year it levels the playing field for all. There are many deep fish caught as well and most novice fisherman don;t know how to take care of deep fish. It just gives too big of a advantage to the Arig slingers.

It’s a technique with a place and is far from a novice one. It has taken me several years to figure out where and how. Still trying to figure out how in the world to get it thru trees and reliably hook a fish

C-rigs are way harder on deep fish....just my $.02.

Not liking a technique or tool is not a good reason to complain about it. I have my kid fish a ned a lot. It’s  a proven novice bait and the complaints about it are much less.
